EXPOSURE TRIPS

Culturally relevant education extends
beyond the classroom.

Our team at CRSci believes that underrepresented students need more exposure to STEM careers early in their secondary education. It is simply not enough to expose them to culturally relevant curriculum in the classroom. They must first-handedly see representations of themselves in college and vocational career pathways.

CRSci's goal is to obtain funding through grants to sponsor student field trips throughout Atlanta. Some potential STEM destinations are the Georgia Aquarium, Delta Flight Museum, Atlanta Zoo, and iFLY.
